Shipping Fused Silica: What to Tell the Supplier

A shipping enquiry is clearer when the destination, the quantity and the packing are in the same message. This note does not state a transit time or a freight price. Those items depend on the shipment that is actually quoted.

Country and delivery place

Send the destination country and the delivery place. A region name alone is not enough for a shipment. Buyers can read the packing points for packing points to align with that place.

Quantity and packing

State the quantity and the packing you prefer: 25 kg bags, 25 kg bags on pallets, or jumbo bags of about 1000 kg or 1250 kg. A small trial of 100-500 kg, subject to the product and to shipping confirmation, may ship differently from a jumbo-bag lot. Say which of the two you are asking about.

Incoterm if you have one

If you already use an Incoterm, write it on the enquiry. If you do not, say so, and the offer can state the basis that is being quoted. Questions that are not a freight rate can go through the contact channel.

What can be confirmed

The supplier can confirm packing, quantity and the documents requested for that order. Your forwarder remains the party who confirms local import conditions. Buyers can ask for the shipping points to be written into the offer you review.

Shenzhen Zhixin New Materials Co., Ltd. reviews the destination, the quantity, the packing and any Incoterm you send. Those items are confirmed on the quotation for the lot.
